Dean Spanley<\/a><\/strong> (Icon):\u00a0A quirky period piece set\u00a0in the\u00a0Edwardian era<\/a>\u00a0it tells the story of a father (Peter O\u2019Toole<\/a>) and son (Jeremy Northam<\/a>) who attend a lecture by a visiting Hindu Swami (Art Malik<\/a>).\u00a0There they encounter Dean Spanley (Sam Neill<\/a>), with whom Henslowe strikes up an unlikely friendship. Based on\u00a0the 1936 novella<\/a>\u00a0by Irish author\u00a0Lord Dunsany<\/a>\u00a0it is directed by Toa Fraser from a screenplay by Alan Sharp.<\/p>\n
