Musical\/Comedy and can occasionally offer up some weird choices.<\/p>\n<p>That said, a large chunk of the films and performances will be the ones up for Oscar and BAFTA recognition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The surprises that initially stick out below are the lack of nominations for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1013753\/\">Milk<\/a>\u00a0in the major categories and the nod for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000129\/\">Tom Cruise<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tropicthunder.com\/\">Tropic Thunder<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the full list of film nominations:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Picture &#8211;
