A hectic work schedule and the oncoming effects of a cold have kept me busy. Just to prove I&#8217;ve not been too lazy, since I last wrote I&#8217;ve seen the following films:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsotsimovie.com\/\">Tsotsi<\/a><\/strong> (excellent)<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.foxsearchlight.com\/theringer\/\">The Ringer<\/a><\/strong> (amusing, if a little slight)<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sonypictures.com\/movies\/basicinstinct2\/\">Basic Instinct 2<\/a><\/strong>      (more of      which soon)<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/java.europe.yahoo.com\/uk\/uip\/insideman\/index.html\">Inside Man<\/a><\/strong>      (very good,      although not the Spike Lee film some might expect)<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebigwhite.co.uk\/\">The Big White<\/a> <\/strong>(bizarre, despite the good      cast)<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/vforvendetta.warnerbros.com\/\">V for Vendetta<\/a><\/strong> (disappointing, despite some      interesting ideas)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Plus, I interviewed <strong>Brian Cox<\/strong> (who stars in The Ringer) and <strong>David Morrissey<\/strong> (who stars in Basic Instinct 2), both of which will air soon on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themikemendozashow.co.uk\/\">the Mike Mendoza show<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/194.46.8.124\/\">TalkSPORT<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Bizarrely, and without wanting to descend into <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Heat_%28magazine%29\">Heat-style<\/a> celebrity spotting I saw the following people in and around London this week in a non-professional capacity:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000490\/\">Spike      Lee<\/a> buying      football shirts in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carnaby.co.uk\/\">Carnaby Street<\/a>      and asking the guys in the shop why Arsene Wenger would let a &ldquo;champion&rdquo;      like <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patrick_Vieira\" target=\"_self\">Patrick Vieira<\/a> leave <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arsenal_F.C.\" target=\"_self\">Arsenal<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Melanie_Sykes\">Melanie      Sykes<\/a>      walking down a Soho street<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Louis_Walsh\">Louis      Walsh<\/a> &ndash;      also walking down a Soho street<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">A bizarre week all-round then.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apologies for not posting over the last few days.
