{"id":13595,"date":"2011-11-28T02:53:26","date_gmt":"2011-11-28T02:53:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/?p=13595"},"modified":"2011-11-28T02:53:26","modified_gmt":"2011-11-28T02:53:26","slug":"john-williams-1990-concert-spielberg-boston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/2011\/11\/28\/john-williams-1990-concert-spielberg-boston\/","title":{"rendered":"John Williams 1990 Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/John-Williams-and-the-Boston-Pops-Orchestra.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13596\" title=\"John Williams and the Boston Pops Orchestra\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/John-Williams-and-the-Boston-Pops-Orchestra.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"280\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In 1990 <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Steven_Spielberg\">Steven Spielberg<\/a> hosted a TV special dedicated to the music of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_Williams\">John Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For a special edition of a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/WGBH-TV\">WGBH<\/a> programme called <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Evening_at_Pops\">Evening at the Pops<\/a>, Williams conducted the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boston_Pops_Orchestra\">Boston Pops Orchestra<\/a> as they played some of his most famous themes.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W3p0YYItARM\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"410\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Spielberg introduces each segment and those played are selections from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Raiders_of_the_Lost_Ark\">Raiders of the Lost Ark<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jaws_(film)\">Jaws<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Close_Encounters_of_the_Third_Kind\">Close Encounters of the Third Kind<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Sugarland_Express\">The Sugarland Express<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1941_(film)\">1941<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Raiders_of_the_Lost_Ark\">E.T.
