{"id":11881,"date":"2011-05-16T03:49:55","date_gmt":"2011-05-16T02:49:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/?p=11881"},"modified":"2011-05-17T18:17:16","modified_gmt":"2011-05-17T17:17:16","slug":"new-versions-of-mind-heist-zack-hemsey-inception","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/2011\/05\/16\/new-versions-of-mind-heist-zack-hemsey-inception\/","title":{"rendered":"New Versions of Mind Heist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Mind-Heist-by-Zack-Hemsey.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Mind-Heist-by-Zack-Hemsey.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Mind Heist by Zack Hemsey\" width=\"560\" height=\"280\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11882\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zackhemsey.com\/Zack_Hemsey\/TV___Film.html\">Zack Hemsey<\/a><\/strong> has released some new versions of <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/jr4z4I\">Mind Heist<\/a>, the track that became famous after being used in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xitHF0IPJSQ\">final Inception trailer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The track first came to prominence with the third and final trailer for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/2010\/07\/10\/inception-review\/\">Chris Nolan&#8217;s blockbuster<\/a> and it really seemed to connect with audiences making it one of the most notable (and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KGdQURlmsjc\">spoofed<\/a>) trailers of the year. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"349\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xitHF0IPJSQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>At first some people assumed that Mind Heist was the work of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hans_Zimmer\">Hans Zimmer<\/a>, who wrote the film&#8217;s memorable score, and Hemsey was <a href=\"http:\/\/zackhemsey.blogspot.com\/2010\/05\/with-all-confusion-going-around.html\">quick to point out via his blog<\/a> that he was actually a different person.<\/p>\n<p>For a time the track wasn&#8217;t officially available to buy online but Hemsey recently uploaded the <a href=\"http:\/\/music.zackhemsey.com\/album\/mind-heist\">Mind Heist EP<\/a> to his official YouTube channel, which contains 5 versions of the track.<\/p>\n<p>Notice how the image of train gets gradually closer if you listen to all of them (viewers of the film will get the reference).<\/p>\n<p>There is the original:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"349\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QpR4p41F8G4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Then there is <strong>The Birth of an Idea<\/strong>, which expands the original in epic ways by adding more electronica and strings:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"349\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LGf6vhv-Ipg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>No Turning Back<\/strong> is a similar length to the original but uses slightly different musical elements and accentuates the beats:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"349\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MWwDmyJqyRg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Promise of Tomorrow<\/strong> plunges into the and focuses on the nice, rousing vibe:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"349\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D0_-CjvmDe4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Evolution<\/strong> is perhaps the one that fans of the film will dig the most.
