The King’s Speech<\/a><\/strong> was the big winner at the BAFTAs<\/a> last night, winning Best Picture (twice!), acting awards for Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush, Best Score and Best Original Screenplay.<\/p>\n

Tom Hooper missed out on as Best Director, which went instead to David Fincher for The Social Network and Natalie Portman won Best Actress for Black Swan.<\/p>\n
