It will also be available on  <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blu-ray\">Blu-ray<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/HD_DVD\">HD-DVD<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be a limited theatrical release at selected UK cinemas on Friday 23rd November.<\/p>\n<p>According to director <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000631\/\">Ridley Scott<\/a>, this version has been seven years in the making:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;The Final Cut is the product of a process that began in early 2000 and continued off and on through seven years of intense research and meticulous restoration, technical challenges, amazing discoveries and new possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>I can now wholeheartedly say that Blade Runner: The Final Cut is my definitive director\u2019s cut of the film.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>All the major cast members including <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Harrison_Ford\">Harrison Ford<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rutger_Hauer\">Rutger Hauer<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Edward_James_Olmos\">Edward James Olmos<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Joanna_Cassidy\">Joanna Cassidy<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sean_Young\">Sean Young<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Daryl_Hannah\">Daryl Hannah<\/a> are among the actors, filmmakers and crew who participate in the extensive bonus features.<\/p>\n<p>The bonus material includes a brand new, feature length documentary called <strong>Dangerous Days<\/strong> directed by award-winning DVD producer <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charles_de_Lauzirika\">Charles de Lauzirika<\/a>. It contains Deckard\/Harrison Ford\u2019s character narration and has Deckard and Rachel\u2019s (Sean Young) \u201chappy ending\u201d escape scene.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1982 International Version<\/strong>: Also used on U.S. home video, laserdisc and cable releases up to 1992. This version is not rated, and contains some extended action scenes in contrast to the Theatrical Version.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1992 Director&#8217;s Cut<\/strong>: This Cut omits Deckard&#8217;s voiceover narration and removes the &#8220;happy ending&#8221; finale.
