How to Lose Friends & Alienate People<\/a><\/strong> is the film adaptation of\u00a0British<\/a> writer\u00a0Toby Young<\/a>‘s\u00a02001\u00a0memoir of the same name<\/a> which charted his time at Vanity Fair magazine<\/a> in New York during the late 1990s.<\/p>\n

For the film, the names of the magazine and people Young encountered have been changed but it still keeps the general thrust of the book intact.<\/p>\n

Simon Pegg<\/strong><\/a> plays the lead character ‘Sidney’ Young, whilst\u00a0Jeff Bridges<\/a> portrays ‘Clayton Harding’ (based on VF editor Graydon Carter<\/a>) and other key supporting actors include:\u00a0Kirsten Dunst<\/a>,\u00a0Danny Huston<\/a>,\u00a0Gillian Anderson<\/a>,\u00a0Megan Fox<\/a> and it is directed by\u00a0Robert B. Weide<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
