Bush<\/a> before his presidency had even ended, I&#8217;m starting to think that <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oliver_Stone\">Oliver Stone<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wthefilm.com\/\"><strong>W.<\/strong><\/a> is not only going to deliver the goods but maybe a possible awards contender.<\/p>\n<p>The latest trailer &#8211; set to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Once_in_a_Lifetime_(Talking_Heads_song)\">Once in a Lifetime<\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Talking_Heads\">Talking Heads<\/a> &#8211; does a great job of distilling W&#8217;s life and career in under 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>If the film delivers on the promise of this spot then it could be something really special.<\/p>\n<p>On a related note, W. is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bfi.org.uk\/lff\/w?utm_source=related1&amp;utm_medium=internal&amp;utm_campaign=related\">being screened at the London Film Festival on October 23rd and 24th<\/a> and on Tuesday 28th there is a talk at the BFI Southbank entitled &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bfi.org.uk\/lff\/cinema_under_george_w_bush_eight_years_attack_and_counter_attack_0\">Cinema under George W Bush: Eight Years of Attack and Counter Attack<\/a>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; Official site for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wthefilm.com\/ \"><strong>W.<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n&gt; <a href=\"http:\/\/men.style.com\/gq\/features\/landing?id=content_7465\">Oliver Stone discusses the movie with GQ<\/a><br \/>\n&gt; <a href=\"..\/archives\/2008\/08\/21\/w-teaser-posters-and-on-set-footage\/\">Check out images and on set footage from W.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although I had serious reservations about anyone making a film about George W.
