I’ve only just come across the official YouTube channel<\/a> for the British Film Institute<\/strong><\/a> (BFI).<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n If you aren’t aware of their good work, Wikipedia defines them<\/a> as ‘a charitable organisation’ established by Royal Charter<\/a> to:<\/p>\n If you live in the UK or London you may have been to see a film at the NFT<\/a> or IMAX<\/a> cinemas which are both run by the BFI.<\/p>\n Their YouTube channel<\/a> now has a lot of videos from their extensive vault, which (according to them) is the world’s largest and most diverse film and TV archive.<\/p>\n There is some very interesting footage from a football match in 1901 between Newcastle United<\/a> and Liverpool<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n
