{"id":223,"date":"2006-07-31T02:23:34","date_gmt":"2006-07-31T02:23:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/archives\/2006\/07\/31\/mel-gibson-meltdown\/"},"modified":"2006-07-31T03:21:27","modified_gmt":"2006-07-31T03:21:27","slug":"mel-gibson-meltdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/2006\/07\/31\/mel-gibson-meltdown\/","title":{"rendered":"Mel Gibson Meltdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mel Gibson<\/strong> was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2006\/07\/29\/AR2006072901180.html\">arrested early on Friday morning in Malibu<\/a> after driving under the influence. <span class=\"body\">The entertainment site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/\">TMZ<\/a> recently posted what it said were <a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.digitalcity.com\/tmz_documents\/gibson_wm_docs_072806.pdf\">four pages from the original arrest report<\/a>, which quoted Gibson as issuing a &#8220;barrage of anti-Semitic remarks&#8221; to the arresting officers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>He has <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/entertainment\/5228050.stm\">issued an apology<\/a> but where this leaves his career is anyone&#8217;s guess.
