This week sees the UK release of The Visitor<\/strong><\/a>, a drama about an economics professor (Richard Jenkins<\/a>) who discovers two illegal immigrants living in his New York apartment.<\/p>\n

I recently spoke to\u00a0 Richard Jenkins<\/strong><\/a> and writer-director Tom McCarthy<\/a> <\/strong>about the film.<\/p>\n

Richard is probably best known for his supporting roles in films such as Flirting With Disaster<\/a>, The Man Who Wasn’t There<\/a> and as the ghost of Nathaniel Fisher<\/a> in HBO’s Six Feet Under<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tom made his debut as a writer-director with The Station Agent<\/a> in 2003 and has acted in films such as Good Night, and Good Luck<\/a>, Flags of Our Fathers<\/a> and the TV shows The Wire<\/a> and Law & Order<\/a>.<\/p>\n
