Seeing as this is our communal garden I\u2019ve never really felt that was an adequate explanation.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no illegal activity here, no anti-social behaviour. The worst it ever gets is the kids running round which, I understand, some people might not like, but frankly kids should run round \u2013 it\u2019s their job.<\/p>\n<p>But this was new. just before he gets the offer of rescuing the President:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dailymotion.com\/embed\/video\/x9vf08?logo=0&amp;start=458\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"238\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But of course, the most infamous robot law enforcer designed\u00a0by city\u00a0bureaucrats\u00a0is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ED-209\">ED-209<\/a>\u00a0from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/RoboCop\">Robocop<\/a> (1987):<\/p>\n<div class=\"movieclips-player\" style=\"background: #000; color: #888; text-decoration: none; background: #000;\" href=\"http:\/\/movieclips.com\/eovAT-robocop-movie-videos\/\"><br \/>\nRoboCop<br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\n\u2014 MOVIECLIPS.com<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To paraphrase The Old Man (played by\u00a0<a title=\"Dan O'Herlihy\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dan_O%27Herlihy\">Dan O&#8217;Herlihy<\/a>): &#8220;Camden, I&#8217;m <em>VERY<\/em> disappointed&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It is all a bit different from Detroit, where a Robocop statue is going to get built after <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmdetail.com\/2011\/02\/17\/detroit-will-get-a-robocop-statue\/\">a Kickstarter campaign began<\/a> after someone tweeted the Mayor&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, this Robocop inspired rap by DJ Mayhem &#038;
