The last ever roll of Kodachrome<\/a> film was given to photographer Steve McCurry<\/a><\/strong>, who has posted some of the shots<\/a> he took with it.<\/p>\n

December 30th marked the last day it was possible to get it developed<\/a> at Dwayne\u2019s Photo<\/a> in Parsons, Kansas<\/a>, the last lab on the planet to process the film.<\/p>\n

Famous for taking the iconic Afghan Girl<\/a> photograph, McCurry managed to gets some interesting subjects for the final roll, including Robert De Niro<\/a>, Grand Central Terminal<\/a>, Amitabh Bachchan<\/a> and, for the final shot,\u00a0a cemetery<\/a> in Parsons.<\/p>\n
