Director Guy Hamilton was so taken with the stunt he even named the villain Kananga after the stuntman who performed it, Ross Kananga.

Any idea how they kept the crocs in position all the time ?
The actually tied the crocodiles’ feet to the floor. That said, it was still dangerous as they could move their mouths upwards.
This is the only footage that i’ve seen of the outtakes. Dude was my crazy uncle…he and my dad did all kinds of crazy shit together!
