I, like most people ,love Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford. This really hurts to say because, like most, I wanted this to be a good movie comparable to the other three in this series. It Isn’t. It is the worst Indiana Jones film made. Harrison’s age really shows. The actors and actresses looked as though they were just going Through the motions. There are no surprises as this follows the format of the other three films.
Same old wine, same old bottle. This movie is like a gourmet soup served at a fancy restaurant. You pay the price for the ticket, sit down start eating and..well it is flat no flavor no spice and very very disappointing. This film IS GOING TO HURT SPIELBERG and LUKAS IN THE OLD REPUTATION POCKET not to mention the box office. Know what? If I were them I would say” OK so much for the rehearsal now lets re shoot the film”. Let us bring in some crack writers and use the reaction of the audience to fine tune and serve a very tasty and spicy film. Of course that would cost a fortune but these skulls are deeply flawed and in need of a face lift. God I hated to say that. That movie had a ton of talent and it was all wasted in a reel(real) travesty. 2 stars out of four and that is being kind. Spielberg and Lukas are not going to get over this one if they don’t fix it.
